Digital Security by Design – Project Page

The UK Government announced their new National Cyber Strategy 2022 to ensure that the country remains confident, capable, and resilient in the digital world.  Digital Security by Design (DSbD) is an initiative supported by the UK Government to transform digital technology and create a more resilient, and secure foundation for a safer future.

CyberHive has been selected to be part of one of the four funded projects, in collaboration with the University of Oxford, to develop a demonstrator and supporting framework of development tools to help digital computing infrastructure to become more resistant to attacks.
Developing innovative new methods to secure the data being transmitted by applying layered encryption resistant to attack by quantum computers. Therefore, more resilient to near-term and future cyber threats – making it harder to infiltrate network infrastructure or endpoints, and remotely take control or extract sensitive information.

This technology could be equally used to protect an organisations’ remote workforce as a secure gateway device, or be retrofitted to devices, such as connected autonomous vehicles (CAV), critical public infrastructure, or internet of things (IoT) endpoints.

This webpage houses the recent information, events, progress and updates on how the project is developing.
